Who is eligible for free clothing and supplies at Resources of Hope?Any child in foster or kinship care in region 10 (Marion) and region 14 (Johnson, Shelby, Jackson, Jennings, Bartholomew) are eligible to recieve free resources. Children in Safe Family homes are welcome to request clothing as well.

What kind of documentation will I need?We require a placement letter from DCS or a referral letter from your caseworker showing that you currently have the children placed in your care. Please bring your letter with you to your appointment.

Do I need an appointment?No you do not. Just come to shop during our normal business hours. Monday - 9am-5pm Wednesday - 9am-5pm Friday - 9am-5pm First Saturday of the month 9a-12p Sunday Closed

How often can my foster child visit the closet?Foster children can receive clothing when the child's size changes or a need arises.

How many items can a child have?**As much as needed right now as we have an abundance of donations** Each child is provided with enough clothes for a week; 5 shirts 5 bottoms 1-2 pajamas 1 pair of shoes 1 pack of new socks and undies (if we have them) 1 dress for girls 1 coat or jacket (seasonal) This all varies on the child's need and availability

What if the child leaves my home?Item's from Resources of Hope are intended to be used by the foster child and are not intended for resale. Any items given to a child should remain with them in the event they leave your home. We would request that you return larger items such as baby equipment, so that we can give them to other families in need.
